I'm assuming 7k represents 7000 nigerian naira. So what did you do about it? Your mom must be very trusting.
Just got back to Lagos, and must say that the ride back was smooth and hitch free. I actually did the Lagos-Benin stretch in 2hrs39mins a feat I haven't achieved in years. The road is a lot better.

@Mikky: Thanks, every one is okay. What about the balance 1k on ur momsie's line? She don dash them?
@Mamba: I must say that MTN gprs has been very stable, and the speed's been good too. On the contrary, Vmobile has been crap.
However, buying a new line now does not automatically mean you'll get gprs activated on the line, I've been trying to activate a friend's line for days now without success.
I have really missed my pc o, posting from a phone is finger numbing.

Go buy a 9500 and enjoy the sheer delight of posting from a 'phone'

@Mikky: Relax and wait for Soludo's pronouncement on the bank recapitalisation exercise. It will come soon enough.

Happy New Year and congrats on reaching the 5K mark(not that it matters much). So how did all my Nigerian connections ring in 2006? Me? I spent it at a music concert with my girlfriend. My wish for 2006 that mobile networks listen to their subscribers, offer better services and further lower the cost to access their services. Greetings from a hot and windy Cape Town.

Mikky na wa o, Anyway una thank you for the concern.
My car sports a V6 3.0L engine, delivering 196 horses easily and capable of attaining speeds in excess of 200kmph.
I was only driving at an average of 150-160kmph. That one no too much na
@Mamba: was it a new line? if yes, how did you get the gprs active?
