I'm sorry, but I'm not getting any response to my replies.
I just have to once again say that all these things you guys say are new to this newest FW, I had on my 029! Even the red led!! And transition effects changed in the 39 but everything else I had and worked perfectly in my 029.
Sorry to say that. You must have gotten some crappy versions or just not recon the things until you updated.

I dont think they all have the red LED. I took mine apart and I have no LED there either. Could be a batch thing?? Probably the newer ones I guess.
If they do all have the LED, I wish SE would make more use of it. Not sure what the point of getting it to flash when the battery is dead, but if they used it is indicate a waiting msg that would be really useful when you need to have your phone on silent. Wonder if that would appear in another FW?

Ok well I updated through SEUS again and so far it seems to have fixed my problem. However, my phone still gets stuck on the starting screen and I have to push the end key to get the phone to finish loading.
hi there! i've been keeping up with this topic since pg 14! THANK YOU EVERYONE for solving many of my problems
but....
i've hit a dead end, my phone wont start, similar problem to milenko11 but the end button will not work for me either, it's stuck on the starting screen (the black one that shows while the phone vibrates), i updated to the newest firmware yesterday (i think that might be related)
i've tried taking out the battery and reinserting after 1 minute, didnt work, then i tried SEUS to update the phone again but it'll be stuck at 0%, i also tried charging the phone, but it's also stuck at that screen
it's like the phone will not respond to anything
i really dont want to pay to use DV but i will if i have to
You didnt state that you tried a master reset, dont know if it will help but worth a try. Your only other option is davinci or send it in for service.
I cant get the phone to start! i cant get to the menu
i think my phone died from SEUS
That is exactly the same as happened to me, SEUS killed it at around 85%, I had to reflash it with Davinci

Bugs that aren't on the main list:
- Always after turning the phone on and off, it sets the default flash theme with the moving ribbon.
- Sometimes, when connected to the HBH-890, when I press play on the handsfree or in Media player, I get a poup window saying "Failed". Playing music works only after I turn the phone off/on.
- Battery time seems to be much worse now, coming from the first firmware.
- Sometimes when watching pictures in Media Player, the transition effect will fail and I will see the pictures at 4/5 of the screen, without animation when changing pictures. The auto-rotate still works. The only way to get rid of the bug is to turn the phone off/on.
- While playing music (bluetooth to HBH-890) the phone works horribly slow. (3 GB of music on a 4GB M2). Not talking about Java apps, but only going through the menu.
- Numerous resets.
- Photomate won't run, after it loads it says "Application uses too much memory". This is the same since the first firmware. It happens like this after I downloaded all the modules
Feature:
- Press the end call button twice to close a Java app. With the old firmware, you needed to press it once, then select "End application". Now the second press on the "end call" will close it.
Is someone else having these problems?
I forgot this:
"- Java applications that use an Internet connection no longer display the internet connection icon when connected. "
This is not true for me. For example, when I start Google Maps, it shows that globe icon as before.
My software is 1200-4400 R1EA031 080206, Adriatic.
Rarely my background (only from flash themes) dissapears and I get a white blank background. The rest of the theme looks ok. I can set it again and the bug dissapears.
I don't know what is happening with my phone, because all those bugs weren't there in the first firmware. And you don't seem to have it. Maybe I should master-reset?

I know it's already been asked (partly) but I want to get rid of the sutter sound on my O2 UK branded K850 (W45) BUT I dont want to debrand it! I'm happy with what O2 UK hav provided...
So it there any way to remove the shutter sound (doesn't go in silent mode!) without debranding?
Cheers

ATTENTION ATTENTION........ i called
support (Swedish head quarter) this morning. gues what they told me ???
they said that R1EA031 now is done....when they released R1EA031 some week ago, the firmware wasnt 100% ready, BUT they took the firmware "back", fix it and put it back to SEUS/EMMA... they did that about 3 days ago...so, if you have install R1EA031 before saturday, REFLASH your k850 with same firmware and you should have the full working firmware
cheers
