what if SE will now be using CCD sensors then... will it be not amazing?
Megapixels are nothing to be brag about, it's the sensor that makes difference. i'm sure SE will be using CCD sensor now. incorporating more than 5mp resolution in a CMOS sensor is not advisable as it will just degrade the pixels and decrease the quality to the worst level. i think Mr Komiyama knows this thing

If your thinking of that black and white mock up slider which had an N93 sie lens and 6mp written on it - thats a fake pic mate. N96 is as high end as we will see in 2008.

They were all saying on here that C902 would be CCD but it wasnt. CCD is too expensive to use and boots the price of the phone up too much.

Yeah. The reason the S700i was so expensive.
I don't honestly think we will see CCD this year or next year even. BUT, I do think we will see the CMOS sensor from the Japanese SO905iCS or a similar CMOS sensor. We will certainly see better quality.

bavlondon2:
If CCD implementation is a must for SE's Shiho i can't see any valid reason for SE not to implement it. and S700 was a completely new product back in time Oli. that's why it's so expensive. now that we saw some phones with CCD sensor with a relatively lower price tag than what it was used before (e.g. thew iMobile-902 right?). Mr Komiyama has already showed us lots of new things from SE since R306 up to X1 and G900 and is yet to show us more ideas inherited from his homeland Japan. i don't think CCD is something that he would not give to us provided with the fact that most Japan phones with 5mp+ resolution has CCD sensors.
