Hi guys
I went from a k800i (still got it and still love it) but upgraded to an N82, well i broke the screen on the n82 and now the insurance company are giving me £280 to go buy a new on at play.com.
i quite fancy buy the c905 but was wondering if this is a better than the n82.
so should i stick with the n82 or get the c905??
Kev
ps: i onow i will have to top up the insurance money to get the c905
in terms of camera is better than N82 BUT not in gps since N82 has pre-installed maps and c905 doesnt and charges you every time you want to find something...wi-fi is pretty much the same as N82 fast and stable...and screen resolution is equal to N82 although N82 can produce 16 million and c905 not.i own both phones but ever since i got c905 i put aside my N82...i like more the style of c905 and of course the camera as i mentioned...

Has anyone got mGuard to work on the C905. Problem I am having is that I can't set the permissions of the app. to "never ask" so it before sending the message. If you know about mGuard you will know what I am on about.

Hey guys,
I upgraded to a SE C905 on 2nd Nov, and soon noticed scratches running the keypad. I went back to the store today and was told it wasn't faulty! Aftrer I insisted, they told me I had to go to another branch to have an engineer look at it, and they'd only change it if he said it was faulty. The engineer said it was definately faulty and sent me straight back to the first store, where the handset came from, and made a note on the system telling them to exchange it. I got the new handset, and by the time I got to the car, I opened the slider a few times and found it had already made new scratches!
Now I'll have to go back to the store that said there was no fault, and ask for a 3rd handset! I'm not sure what they're gonna do, so I may give the SE Store on Oxfod street a call first.
Does anyone know how common this fault is? Is SE aware of it?
I'll be sorting it out on Monday morning, wish me luck

I sure have it and it has been mentioned by others repeatedly. Someone suggested it to be dirt having found its way underneath the slider; an explanation I don't find plausible. The scratches on my keypad are located on the right hand side of the 1, 4 and 7 keys (to the right of the letters), and they appeared within a week and while treating my new phone as carefully as a baby.

I've just updated my phone over the air and was wondering if this would remove the custom camera driver I installed a few days earlier. I'm pretty sure it doesn't as FOTA only downloads changed components in the firmware, whereas SEUS rewrites the whole thing. People have said that the camera driver hasn't changed between the firmwares.

My 16gb M2 came in today, so I loaded 9 gigs of music (1300 songs) and I'm happy to report that I have zero lag in the media player or the phone.

its not dirt causing the keypad scratches.
i've got a slight scuff to the right of the No.1 key,if you look at the keypad with the slider open you can see very little clearance between both parts of the slider.
prob due to faulty design or assembly.
