Yes!
Got one in Stockholm today.. They had 1 more in stock.. hehe..
Its loading now.. two cool pulsating leds at the side indicate loading.
Now I have the night to play, and try to copy everything from my "old" P1i to X1.
It's like christmas!

Also , vista basic itself runs ok on 256 mb ram.
sorry but i don't believe this

my friend has a neo pentium D based laptop with 384Mb ram and it runs vista basic like snail. (the moment i installed netbeans 6.1 there the whole laptop ended up miserably slow)

it'd runs fine if you disable all graphics gloss and strip it back to Windows 2000 look alike. Disable services such as system restore, indexing, UAC, security centre, antivirus realtime scanner, etc etc. But I agree netbeans would run like a dog no matter what you do. But netbeans takes a bit of grunt. Most average word/internet/email users would get by fine.

my friend already has it but he wont tell me about RAM,but he said
"it is not 256MB RAM and there is no loading between potrait view to landscape view Transition.X1 is already smoother than before. X1 need big RAM because 9 panels is active = you run 9 application at one time...'

youtube isn't really the best place to showcase these videos as they compress them quite a bit when you upload
better to find a site for the original video to be viewed

Can you explain further why he wouldn't tell you? Is he a secret agent or something?

If this were true then the initally designed X1's would have had 384MB. The 128MB X1's were also fast after a few ROM updates. I don't doubt that there is some benefit to increasing the RAM, but there has to be a point of diminishing returns. If you have, say for example, 50MB of free system RAM and a particular app has a RAM footprint of 10MB, increasing the system RAM won't make that app execute any faster.

It would not have been done so with a view to upgrading to WM7 as if it was then an accelerometer would have been included too as WM7 will support hand based gestures.
Supposedly, WM7 will not explicitly require an accelerometer, but can make use of camera based gestures. In the same sense that desktop windows makes no distinction between mouse, trackball, glidepoint (they all have the same end result) perhaps WM7 will have the option of camera gestures and/or accelerometer?

Could you please make a short comparation between X1 and P1. So far we got almost nothing from X1 users, just fany posts like: "Oh, its so good, its amazing. I love it, etc." We need some facts, specially P series owners.....
