TFT is not a screen type !!! I'm not referring to you but its annoying to see some idiots on GSMArena and other sites keep repeating " Sony uses crap TFT screens". There are 3 types of LCD panels mainly - TN, IPS and VA. All 3 use TFT as backplane.
Every single smartphone, laptop, monitor, TV uses TFT backplane. Even AMOLED can use TFT.

You got me wrong I meant their cheap eIPS not the whole panel
I mean Better IPs like super ips or something similar that improves viewing Angels

If true this would kill htc and Samsung to find a compact waterproof from Sony with nice design(normal from Sony)
Anyway the only point I'm scared of us the screen aNgles xD
EIPS Is ips with very cheap backlight which damages the viewing angles
So it's the lowest ips quality so I hope using more improved IPs for this beast xD
