The only change I can see at first glance (if it wasn't there already!) is a new Deive Management menu. No idea what it's for though.

parameter incorrect dilemma... hhhmm
with R1AA it was kinda rampant on the first week, then after along while i usually transfer heap files (jpegs) from phone to PC. and so far the issue is slowly vanishing... havent experienced one lately (before the update of R1BC).
and so far... trying continuously... heap transfer from PC-phone and vice versa. so far no transfer bugz...

thanks for your quick response....i'm hoping (fingers crossed) that this issue won't appear in R1BC for me. Currently, waiting for the W800i to get the update as well........^^

I tried updating last night from R1A to R1BC but keep getting update failed message at the end. I can use the phone and in the software info is shows up as the new firmware but I would rather have it say successful then go around with just incomplete software.
I tried a settings resets but that didnt help. Anyone else having this problem with new firmware?
Might it be that I am on a wireless network and it sometimes loses connection but then regains it in a second ? Or is the firmware downloaded and when you update its not even necessasry to be online?
Am on O2 UK unbranded.
Cheers Will

Sorry to disapoint you but the Firmware is downloaded to your PC before it begins flashing the phone with it.

Ah thats alright then so its not dependant on my rubbish wireless connection. Ok well then can anyone think what might be going wrong? I am reluctant to try a full master reset (reset ALL) simply because of the hassle.
