You can turn off the shutter sound in the camera settings menu. No need to mod it.

I'm going mad.

How the f**k do you get m.youtube.com to work on the C905? It worked once, and has never worked again. Just buffering 0% all the time. It worked fine on my K810i, so what's going on?

Yup. But it would be good to be able to turn the "focus sound" off also, without having to set the phone to mute mode.

Are you talking about over GRPS (mobile network) or your home wifi?

I have a dutch version of the C905 and it only allows me to choose: Camera Shutter 1, 2 , 3 ,4 .

Over gprs. Neither opera or the default browser work. All my settings are correct, it just won't do it. I'm using vodafone, on and unbranded phone. I notice a lot of people on the vodafone forum are struggling with it and vodafone have no answer. Anyone got a clue?

***secret**pervert**secret***

on all the SE phone's I've had you just put the phone into 'silent' mode (hold down # for a few secs).. try to use the camera now

haha

On UK c905 there is no option to turn it off, same as Dutch 1,2,3,4.
Silent mode works though.

Try turning off HSDPA/3G

main menu..settings..connectivity...mobile networks...GSM/3G networks...GSM only

see if it connects then

What would the point be on that? You need 3G speed to stream the video in the first place.
VTap doesn't work either. Nothing streams, full stop.

I'm sure you have checked what access point you are connecting to (settings->communication->streaming). Have you also tried connecting over your local wifi, should you have one? You'll have to manually change the settings specifically for streaming to stream from wifi, entering your modem's IP.

Streaming works very well for me, both over hsdpa and wifi.
