Hi!,
I'm wainting with high expectation the comming f/w release for not-branding w800's.
The minimum requirements that I demand to this new r1aa008 version are:
1) A normal transfer of data through the USB cable at USB 2 rates, that is, the elimination of the MS bug without downgrading the USB speed.
2) The removing of the noise/hiss/static that is present when you are using the Walkman functionality.
3) The elimination of the loud click between songs when using the Walkman.
If these problems are not solved I will feel quite dissapointed and if SE official technical service does not downgraded for free my phone to the working formware, that is, the R1L, I will think about get back my money due to a faulty product. 379 is a proper figure for having a product without so many problems.

Just talked to SE Call center in sweden. The F/W is released to theire service centers. And can be expected sooner this week on the webpage.

Couldnīt agree more with you guys! Since the firmware for vodaphone doesnīt seem to fix more than the file corruption bug(and hardly even that) from what iīve read in this thread and others.
So i will at report SE to the institution for consumers here in Sweden if they doesnīt fix those issues that OSEDelta mentions plus the lesser light sensivity in the camera.
As i said earlier: Gloves are off!

well from what have been written so far about the firmware that has been released for vodaphone phones, it doesnīt seem to be a good idea to upgrade if you have the firmware R1L002. For us others that allready have upgraded to the later firmwares...well we have nothing to loose by trying to upgrade and see if something has gotten better....wich i doubt it has.
