Hey- now your 'something new' point self negates the Apple n Orange comparision (which is erro'ous IMO). I believed & said it about P8- it lacked. So its not patronizing any ONE. But like I said, each one has theirs. I'd rather have a single handed device (coz of a handicap on my left side), but for bizniz use need Spreadsheet.. Rather than N* (if in non UIQ) I'd go for a Windows fone or the Qtek type device (only thing, they are as bulky). hate the way my P910 has slowed after I put 1GB (only 5-6 apps)..

PLUS~ this nerdy geek I know tells me that 802.11 /802.12 WiFi standard (or whatever these devices might have) is getting "dated" :-? Some new WiFi standard (I remember reading 'bout it) and some WiMax (Wan) thing will get broader acceptance atleast in Technology abundant markets. So I wouldn't bet my nickle on 3G n WiFi just yet, unless I got some REAL, cost effective use not just fancy. Whats with misuse of Cam & resultant restrictions on phones in General at most places. Taking these for streaming video on a small screen too is ruled out for me. But then Iav not tasted blood (3G et al) So those who have, could tell us What / How They Use It For A Better Life? What are the practical usage advancements & at what costs (read: batt. drain) . . . ANYONE ?

I also think 3G is more 'hype then use' . On the other hand EDGE seems to be a more viable option. I don't know about India, but in my country at least, is doing fairly well. Is a pity SE ignore EDGE :(

Why ? In Europe only a hand full of countries do not offer EDGE. Germany is one of the last to switch to EDGE early next year. O2 stopped all further development of 3G and will implement EDGE on all fronts.Switzerland for example has 98% EDGE coveriege ! You may not get it on your preferred network but is there or shortly will be. Asia (ie India) is offering for almost a year now.Even dark Africa has it (ie South Africa) If you have used EDGE you will never want to go back to GPRS. 3G is nice when and where it works. Edge is like gprs only 4-6x faster. This is my own experience and not a review read in some magasine ! Greetings from South Africa. Mario :-)

I have a WIFI Network at home for over a year now.I also run a long range bluetooth network.(this same message is posted from my cell while hooked up locally) I intend to by a wimax card yearly next year and link my local network to my work's network (about 18km away).I hopped that the N93 will be WIMAX enabled but it will only be 3.5G. Lets hope that the N95 will be WIMAX enabled. I spend most of the time within 50KM of my home.I already have a S60 program which can make internet phone calls over whatever local network is available.(bluetooth for now and shortly wifi) If wimax is out I will throw my simcard away :-))
