Ok. Here it comes - the rumor of the month - Nokia will 'officially' amounce the N83 (N80 successor) next month . Due for release in first quarter 2007. Also apparently 2 jung employers got 'smacked on their fingers' for 'leaking the news' prematurely. Unfortunately it won't support the WIMAX
the liked pics are quite accurate thou. Also there is work done on a 'upgraded' N93 which will be called N95. Specs wise will be a convergence of technologies between the experimental N92 and commercial N93. It will have a upgraded 5 mp camera with 3x zoom , 2.8 in screen, digital tv receiver, keyboard horizontal/vertical usage, even faster processor and graphic accelerator and probably for the first time ever in a cellphone a hidef handycam ! ! ! (the 1440x1080i as usual in compact handycams - not the full 1920x1080i/p). Yet again no news about Wimax
slated for late 1quarter/2quarter 2007 release. W.T.F ?!?! While is nice to have all that why no wimax ? And I wonder if the battery will last more then a few hours - I am not even going to speculate about the price. Greetings from South Africa. Mario

There's no way that they could use that recording on a mobile. That would surpass many dedicated video recorders even. Not to mention the issue of how they'd manage to store such high quality video.

Well, look at the very first post of this tread (back in may.) Click on the link there and read it thru. There was talk about a vague cell with a 10GB hard drive. If one puts 2 and 2 together then the N95 might just be that one. Unfortunately no one working for Nokia I know will confirm the 10Gb to me. Technically is not that a remote idea thou. If one thinks a N93 films at 640x480 progressive, 1440x1080 interlaced needs about 2.5x more power/faster. Microprocessor wise is more of a evolution then revolution. Once again the battery will be the weak point ! Nokia is really 'changing gears' into a already very fast moving F1 car. The competition needs to do something and they must act now ! We, the customers, lets sit back and enjoy

Well actually is not that 'soon'. I don't expect it till this time next year. (unless you call that soon in the fast living cell market). I am not due for a upgrade till 2008 - for my cellphone and 2010 for my handy cam. I don't know why I have the feeling that my hidef handy cam will be a solid state device from which I can make phone calls too :D - just in time for the next soccer world cup which incidentaly will be hold in my country :D Greetings from South Africa. Mario.
