There seems to be an LED or something on the top of the phone (other side to the power button). Does anyone know what it's for? Is it possibly a signal status/battery warning LED like older SE and Ericsson phones used to have? or is it something else?

How come everybody all of a sudden cares about video recording? Eversince the K800 video recording has become important. Personally I think very few people use this feature and the level of an actual camcorder will not be reached in the near future (this unlike the photo aspects of phones nowadays). Just my thoughts.

well, for my guess I'd think it would be in the middle between the W810 and the W900 models. but thats pure speculation since SE haven't quoted any price

And mine.. IMO video recording on ANY contemporary phone is at the neanderthal stage still picture cams were around -02 - 03 anyway, so who cares?! Heck, i donīt even use my proper digicam for video because itīs not good enough to be enjoyable

@Delta 9: People want to record video, it's as easy as that...
I record video alot with my canon ixus =P

Now the fact that other manufacturers are ahead makes fans frustrated bc they want to stay brand loyal but also have the latest tech. Now if can't give them what they want either they go for the second best or they change brand.

This is a bit off topic but...
Two things that I have noticed people are wanting [b]a lot[/] is lens covers and good video recording. And the one new thing that keeps coming up is the lack of auto focus in the non walkman phones. I my self don't understand why removed the af and lens cover form the phones. I also do not understand why phones can't have better video recording than qcif. If it is a SONY thing then I'm deeply sorry bc this stupid branding will hurt in the long run.

Now about the phone, I think it is OK. It is not great or even near that. I think it is quite good looking except from that orange bar on the front.
Also it is a bit fat.

from the SE website it looks like its what you press to activate the slider, but from the se-community website's video, the slider was activated without using the button, ie manually, ie just pushing the back of the phone down.

so are the music light things the small dot lights around the center...?

wonder what the true function of the orange thing is, if its just to open the slider why did they make it that big and obvious?
