HI ALL
Just would like to know, if i pay 02 to unlock a k800i (obviously its 02 branded) will i be able to use a 3 USIM in it and access 3G services?
My mum is getting a k800 upgrade on 02 but unfortunately im locked into a 3 contract for another 12 months so ive gotta stay with them!! Any ideas how im gonna be able to get her upgrade working on 3?!

K800i 02 phones are not locked and have very minimal branding

When debranding, does it delete any files such as mp3's, pictures or themes?
Also, Im currently on 3... what are the standard games supplied with the k800i? I believe the 3 firmware has 1 extra game but not sure which one...

I came across this thread and I was a bit sceptical abouting debranding my new '3' k800.
I followed the steps and put back all the settings described in earlier in this thread (you need to make sure that the Internet Profile of Three WAP is selected to use the web) and it worked a treat.
I forgot to take the memory card and SIM card out though (it was late at night when I did it) and fortunately I only had one photo on the memory card. This seemed to be wiped but everything else was ok.
You can also go to the sony e website and they'll send you a txt msg with the settings for picture sending.
I want to thank you guys for the top tips!

I am thinking of debranding my '3' K800i but have two question first...
1. What happens to the '3Player' icon? does it still take you to a web based player? or is it replaced with a media player type software as on my old w800i?
2. On the main screen where the link to 'planet 3' is at the moment...what does it say afterwards?
