i totally flunked a levels results..

got DUDE... did mine in 2002 though.. the year AS and A2 came out..

bit gutted i did so bad, teachers were gutted.. flew through GCSEs, was a member of mensa, IQ of 135 which apparently makes me a genius!!.

i suppose thats what you get for drinking solidly for 2 years..

i've done my own little research while all my mates have been at uni and come out.. they have all graduated now mostly with 1sts and 2/1s but with a minimum of £9k debt.. highest paid person that has got a job is £40k.. which is £18k over what i took home last year. but before too long i should be on roughly £50k with bonuses with options to go further in the future.

i dont see myself at any disadvantage because i didnt go to uni.

whether that is me looking at it because i didnt go and im upset i didnt go i dont know.

all i know is that im happy i have no debts and i've got a much better looking bank balance than all the ex students i know.

ps.. i do still plan on going to uni though.. will be going to do surveying at a uni accredited by the RICS. then ideally move to Dubai as a rural surveyor with BP or the like.. earn too much money tax free oh and ill hopefully be doing my degree through a sponsorship with the above mentioned petroleum company!

Good luck with the medicine thing, sure you will get there eventually it is really hard to get in especially first time. No i start next month, cannot wait. Should be really good, i am glad i am staying at home really, will save money and Liverpool is a great place anyway, just looking forward to meeting people really.

Freshers week should be great too i am going to make sure i get there REALLY early lol, so what course are you doing now? I was tempted to apply for anatomy & physiology but decided against it, wish i had now, oh well.

I'm doing Medicinal Chemistry, its hardcore, its like the most complicated bits of chemistry mixed with pharmacology, biology and physiology, but I'm really enjoying it, I just love Chemistry! I've passed this year with a 2:1 so I'm made up !!!!

You can try getting to Freshers eary, thats if you wake up from the previous night's drinking! You gotta show those noobs how its done in Chez Liverpool! lol Its all good staying in your home town, especially when your home town has LIVERPOOL FC!!!!

Which course have you gone for now then?

Cheers
