The whole point of fasting and Ramadan is that you should be greatfull to Almighty Allah for providing you food,and making us appreciate the things more that we have got,rather what we haven't..there are many millions who are starving in Africa and in other places so we should be thankfull to Allah for putting food on our tables.

When fasting always think about the ones less fortunate as that is the whole point of Ramadan.

Offended? Nah, just thought it was weird. I usually see people from the Gulf on TV pronouncing the Dhad like a Z, never new some egyptians did it. But then Egypt does have quite a few dielects.

I'm 100% sure that Emiratees, Qataris and Bahraini's do not pronounce the DH as Z. 1 million percent. When i was in highschool, my P.E., Music and Religion teachers were egyptian and they pronounced it with a mix of dh and z.

Iraq, Kuwait and the other gulf regions pronounce it ramadan too, just a couple of african countries, mainly Eygpt pronounce it ramazan.

Salaams Every1 - Ramadan Mubarak - I am of Kashimiri Decent and we call it what we like, Ramzaan, Ramadan, RohZeh, LOL! Many names for it i suppose worldwide?
