When you are running Sman, make sure you toggle Exclusions, otherwise your radio or your wlan can be closed by swissmanager and this can be pretty annoying ...

Quote:Now the down side of using the Swiss Man is that is killing ALL the running apps. No function like we used ot have in SMan to take snapshot of the apps you wanna keep running.Just use the "Toggle exclusion" function of Swiss Manager, which is the second button from right on the task list view. With that function you can mark/unmark any running task for exclusion when the End all tasks function is executed. So, it replaces taking a "snapshot" and provides you full control and visual feedback about what will be and what will not be closed.

Don't know how to check, but generally crashes after about 2 days of usage. *sigh*

Okay now down to about 7.2mb of RAM with no apps running and my P990 has been up for 3 days 1 hr. You can't do much with this little RAM - well unless you are happy to run the P990 as a non-multitasking device. So 2 days seems about right for a reboot. I would prefer 5 days and that way you can get through a working week...

@ Lisa.
I know I should have read the documentation. Thx for the input. The toggle exclusions works great. Now I can chhose which one app should be kept open.

I'm on 3 days now, and my ram is about 7.9mb without any open applications.

There is one number I dial usually, everytime I press 2 on my phone (after dialling the number ), the P990 restarts itself automatically . If I don't call this number and press 2 my phone usually reboots itself every 3 days so far.

I have an uptime for 5d 19h 34m now and up til today I have had over 10mb ram free when cleaning all with SMpro. (I have also exited the security app for gaining 1-1,5 mb extra.)

But today something has happened. I'm down at 7-7,5mb free even after a cleanup an exiting all apps. So I will have to do a restart.. I wonder what has happend.

After the restart and exiting security app I now have 16,8 mb free! Hope this will keep me going for a week now.

By the way, I'm a hard user with third party apps such as agile, tomtom, salin clicker and a lot ow browsing. Still managed to keep it running for more then 5d... I'm actually surprised.. hehe.
