The successor of the K800 is a GOOD fone to watch I guess . . . The JUMP from the K750 to the K800 did NOT impress me that much ! It's LIKE the SHIFT from the T610 to T630 . . . and NOT from the K700 to the K750!

You say the successor to the k800i. Does one actually exist? A successor that is? In terms of comparison, the k800i out performs the k750i hands down. The integrated web browser, RSS, functions keys, etc... Please correct me if I am wrong but the k750i had none of these items.

None of which qualifies as being a major upgrade. You can get a 3rd party web browser in the K750.

Okay, I never owned a k750i. Just read the specs, and functionality reports.

Would you consider the jump from k750i to k800i a major upgrade? From the spec sheets alone, the winner is the k800i by a mile. In your opinion what would you consider significant, and why do you consider the k800i not a major upgrade?

I live in Finland, which is considered as probably one of the most mature mobile phone markets globally. There, the k800i is considered quite a significant upgrade, and in many cases groundbreaking for a mobile.

Because if you put the inner workings, UI and etc etc in a K750's casing, i wont be able to notice that i'm using something different. Using K800 feels the same. An upgrade is like going from UIQ 2 to 3, or Symbian 2nd edition to 3rd.

K800 is more of a cosmetic upgrade.

You're talking cosmetics while I am talking about features and functionality. Without flaming you, this is what I mean when I say a mature mobile market. In Europe, we look at devices in terms more so in what it can do rather than what it looks like. So, by your reasoning, if they put the same UI, etc, in a radical package, you would consider this a major upgrade? This may work for you, but I prefer more in terms of specifications.

Sapporobaby i suggest you get off your high horse and take an English lesson. Or just reread what QVGA said. Slowly.

You would sound more mature and intelligent if you stopped trying to write in English.

I have a few suggestions for you but I won't put them here. His statements, in my opinion, show an immature understanding of mobile phones, mobile markets, functionality, and design. However this is just my opinion. Being an American that speaks perfect english (gosh it must suck being you), I am well aware of what he was saying according to his broken english and lack of grammar structure but I never brought it up. I took his post at face value for what I thought he was trying to communicate. Maybe you need to talk to QVGA and see if he has time to tutor you once you reach puberty.

I have no truck with QVGA, as this still comes down to a matter of opinion, his verses mine. He is neither correct nor wrong, nor am I. We just have different opinions. By all means do sign up for a class in comprehension as soon as possible.
