Still like T-68i better than the Nokia 7210.

Dis ain't about cars. Anyway, I gotta give this guy points for knowin' his stuff and standing his ground. He makes some cogent arguments. I right now own both a T68i and a T300 and am deciding which one to sell. Tiraids like this one just might help me make up my mind... hmmm....

I appreciate you discussing Nokia and Ericsson here but for those who have an and cheers for Nokia can get the f**k out of here. Here we discuss ERiCSSON and nothing else! If fyou want to cheer for Nokia do that on a Nokia forum. // an SE fan!

and one thing more. The T68 and T68i has been out for more than 1 YEAR now! and when did the *ridiculous* 7210 show up hu?

@swazi...I had one and to my experience/opinion, its a bit hard to press the buttons coz its both too far apart and too close together. Its IR is not even compatible w/ the 7650 if you want to transfer tones on the go. I didnt quite like. I guess it would be better if you check out 6100 or 5100. Better 5100 coz its shock, dust and water resistant. It even has a calorie counter. Ü Or wait for the 6800 and N-gage. This message was posted from a P800

I liked the functionality in my old T68 (flashed to i), but I have to admit that many of the basic function (reception, sound) were lacking. My gf also has one and she seems to have gotten a better phone than I had because often I couldn't get a signal while hers was working just fine.
I switched to the 7210 and while there things I missed about the T68 (picture phone book, better mms features, animation in sms), the Nokia seems to be a much-better phone.
Reception-wise, there's no contest. Now the 7210 even bests the gf's phone. SMS is soooo much better and quicker. The colours are brighter and more vivid (especially with a transparent logo), the polyphonic rocks (especially when you can assign tunes to sms now). It looks good with the black case, there's a cheap but dependable camera option that's at least as good as the 68, if not better.
I didn't think I'd like the Speakerphone function, but I use it more and more. And for the FM radio, I usually beam mp3s from my iPod so I can listen to tunes and take calls.
Nokia's not for everyone, but the 7210 is a good (tri-band) phone that sacrifices some of the gadget-ness of the 68 for more-dependable quality and reliability.
That said, I have looked at the p800 and some of the other phones coming in the market. Basically, the best is still to come no matter what platform/maker you choose. Life is good.
