"And why was America so unprepared when terror attack warnings had been received?"

Sounds like Pearl Harbour, a mistake/failure with communication. Hence little preparation or immediate fightback so to speak.

And for those of who have seen the documentary,it was clearly rigged in favour of the official story.Worse yet, propaganda techniques were used to portray the opponents of the official story unfairly. Techniques included: manipulative camerawork, personal attacks and a show which focussed on only the weakest evidence presented by the opponents of the official story.

This Blog is to address the inaccurate rebuttals offered by the BBC, as well as to analyse the propaganda techniques and reiterate the questions that the BBC failed to address.

How right you are! A chinese first-year film student without any English at all could have summed up afterwards who was pitted against whom, who was "good", who was "evil"/"stupid"/"irrational"...
Not even mentioning the manipulative use of musical stereotypes, the film-cliches were plentiful:
- the irrationals had plenty of unfavourable close-ups, in environments that said, "these are recluses - they work in stuffy home offices"(exception being Alex Jones who's "just another 'shock-jock". In other words: these folks don't get around much, they are deluded by isolation, out to shock...
- the official lie-ne supporters were all calm, collected, etc... filmed in everyday, recognisable environments - in other words: people who have a life... with their feet firmly on the ground, almost laconic about "all the fuss"
(noticed the absence of a single "hysterical" pro-official version-ist???)
- the voices of the "conspiracy nuts" were consistently louder, almost like shrill commercial breaks within a calm wildlife programme... off-putting, right?
- the calm, sexily (who could doubt her) whispering narrator referred repeatedly to "our research" (the BBC's?) - zero elaboration!
- put the heaviest emphasis on the rubbish-est "doubts" - the sister of a jew "who really died that day" contradicting the rumours re. jews having been forewarned... (all of Islam, on the other hand, represented by some Hesbollah marchers in their scary "halloween costumes"...). That segment was so, so long...

Well, you get the idea... And that x-file dude!!! I would've liked to see Tom Clancy... Do you guys even remember that? He convinced me at about 3.30pm gmt on 9/11 that it was an inside job. One of the US channels we watched here in Ireland that day got him rushed into the studio as a co-host (like the bloody Oscars???) - and I shit you not, he sort of giggled when he explained that he had once suggested a plot involving planes hitting the twin towers to his CIA mates... And they allegedly had told him "that's too far-fetched"!!! "Too far-fetched" and "Tom Clancy novel" in one sentence just doesn't make sense at all (remember 6 months before that silly movie had a plane nearly crash into the WTC)... So why would his CIA buddies tell him to drop the plot? (I watched the events with 12 Americans in a tourist hostel. They all froze when he said that while the towers were attacked...)
And remember in the late 1930's a lot of people made themselves and others believe rumours of concentration camps in Germany were just crazy gossip... (incl. Jews in and outside Germany!!!).. And Hitler hadn't been very secretive about his ambitions, now had he?
"nazis - a lesson from history"... my *ss! The "ordinary decent people" wouldn't recognise evil until it bites them... That's why they keep voting for them, that's why they keep paying license fees to be lied to...
Good night (and: at 20.40pm I told you so!!!)

I agree I watched the programme last night and it seemed to belittle the conspiracy theorists and basically call them crackpots and the fact that they couldnt accept the truth because it was a too simple explanation.

Even though clips of loose change were shown, they did argue against the evidence shown in that video which was interesting but not all of what was said in loose change was answered.

I was wondering when 'the lone gunmen' theory was going to be shown and luckily it was and that was just a bezar coincidence that they came up with a similar storyline to that of the 9/11 attacks.

Not much counter evidence was given about flight 93 and the fact still remains that there is only a 20 ft hole in the ground where it was supposed to have crash landed.

I just felt that the programme didn't do conspiracy theorists such as myself much credit and did a little more harm than good to the whole theory.

Yeah, and "funny" again: WHY in f*cks name is it so outrageous anyways to suggest Flight 93 was shot down? That makes absolutely no sense, and on 9/11 everyone on tv at some stage said: yeah, there's another plane... they're gonna shoot it down of course!!! Shooting 93 down was a "given" when people realised what was going on. Noone suggested, "oh, I hope they don't shoot it down!"!!! Americans have shot down passenger planes in Asia by mistake... just, eh, so... But it's scandalous to suggest 93 was downed by the supertroopers... Right, real rational, doh! And Mr x-files says, "I don't believe our goverment are mass murderers" ( or some such trite)... They are/have been/will be (Remember Miss Albright:"a hundred thousand Iraqi children starving to death thanks to illegal US sanctions... a necessary evil"... napalm/nukes/etc...
While Mengele was working his voodoo in German camps, US doctors conducted some of the very same experiments in US hospitals on blacks!!!

Our ethical subroutines haven't evolved all that much in 3 or 4 (de-)generations...

It was anything but fair, the whole programme leaned towards the official version of events.

Crucial bits of evidence were completely ignored, instead they brought in some X-Files producer who portrayed Conspiracy Theorists as delusional.

Check out this This Blog for the inaccuracies in the programme.
