lol i one time took a nokia 6230i phone from phones4u, i just wanted to try it out and cancel within 14 days, i took it back 2 days later, saying i don't need this contract anymore, cuz my (so called uncle from dubai) is getting it for me sim free. and omg, i went through 45 mins of them trying persude me to keep it, with half price line rental they decided to add on me account too, i told them i wasn't interested, then i got transferred to a Phones4U cancellation dept in the store, they put someone on the phone to me, still trying to get me to keep the phoen and offer me more discounts i kept saying no, and then finally they gave up lol

It's very easy to blame phones4u and play the hard done-by consumer, but the fact of the matter is if you sign a contract you must take full responsibility for your actions!
IE read the bloody thing in the first place and know what you are signing!

I agree with you. But it is also upto the retailer to sell you what you want and not to add bits when you are not looking.

I applied for Phones4u just after i had finished college, got past the first stage straightaway (phone part) got the application filled that in, was pretty easy, just basic info and employment history, got turned down, they did'nt wanna know as i had no experiance in sales, cant really see anyone getting a job with any phone shop if you dont have experiance in sales/retail.

All I shall say on the matter is this.
They are cowboys, through and through. They have almost no products knowledge, are the most pushy phone sales people on the plannet and only employ 'beautiful' looking sales-pressure based people who would bully their own grandmother into having a £75/month contract if it meant getting a sale (and trust me, some of them HAVE done that).
Avoid at all costs, no questions, no alternative.
