I had a mini for my first car. Learned and passed my test in it. Was a 1982 Mini City E. Loved the car and had it for nearly three years untill I was hit in the side by a drunk in an Audi 80. Flipped the mini 3 times and was a write off. Was gutted cos three weeks earlier me and my dad fully restored the car at a cost of £3000. Have got 2 photo's of my Mini before we rebuilt it. Will sort em out and post em on here when I can
Didn't have the internet when I had my Mini though
I used to go through the ad's in MiniWorld magazine (is it still going ??) for parts.
Also went to Minispares in Longton, Stoke On Trent but they have closed now.
There's Mini Mine in Longton, Stoke On Trent which are still going. They are currently redoing their website atm:-
