Smthg so strange happened wiz me .... well yesterday (4/4/2007) i updated my w950i, World generic 2 & my CDA is 162014/2, and everything was gr8, i had the new firmware R9F011 (and i saw the new changes like the status bar & the gain in memory)... but i had problems wiz some programs so i decided to do a master reset and than re-update it again & after finishing my update 2day i realized that the firmware is back to the old one R9EC001 and when i repeated checking it, it says : u already have the latest software :S
donno what happened ... i am sure it is a problem from the SE Update service or maybe they removed the update for the world generic 2??...
so strange
what can i do right now? why it worked yesterday for the world generic 2 & today no ?
NB: my phone is unbranded and unlocked ...

I am guessing they are taking back this update.
As they did with the PC Suite. Somebody must have messed up the things BIG time.
Now this is sounds really scary or put it simple f**ed up.
How can one now trust in these updates? Or we just gonna take the plunge and hope for the best ?!

this maybe a foolish quest, but i need to know, what;s the diffrent btw wG 1 and 2 or maybe 3 ? why the update is just for WG 1, not for WG2 ?
take back the update from SE ? wow, can it really happened ??

this is really strange.. I have a CDA /1 too and I updated yesterday without problems.

but no, there is no update for M600 yet
edit: btw, if there was new firmware for M600 we'd have a thread titled "M600i New Software Version Rxxxxx"
