hi guys! can i ask you something?!

where can i get hold of the patch for /OTHER folder.

the one that will move your drivers on the /OTHER folder of your extended mem.

i just want to remove mine. my phone is K750i R1DB CID36

Man that is the patch that moves your camera and display drivers to other/drv... but not the acoustics too. And if you want the patch you can download it from here:

YES! i got the Menu chngd finaly... it WAS working fine until.... i put some Patches in it too. and damnit its gone now..... MY W800 IS GONE
wt am i spose to do now..

iv searched how to remove them and tried to remove thm also but nothing is hapening tho....its stil not doing anyting... stil blinking (after the white screen and vibration) it just keeping blinking white screen....

any help wil be VERY apreciated.
i shudnt hav tried the patches bt well too late for that now...

@majed: tell me you used the correct patches for you firmware. if you used applied different patches then your phone will do what is doing yours right now. just flash your phone and i think it will be fine again.

ya dontwry ae... con i think i aplied the patches whch said [mismatch] so i gues that was result frm thm.
bt yea so lastnite i went to Sony webside and downloaded the latest Sony Ericsson Update_Service_Setup-2.7.6.8-1.exe and updateded my fone. now its back to normal.

So my questn now is that: IS IT SAFE TO USE FAR MANAGER 'AGAIN' AND JUST EDIT STUFF WHICH IS IN TPA AND TRY NOT TO GO IN TO FLASH?

Yesterday I started applying pathces on my w810, using SETOOL2lite, and all the patches I uploaded the phone work great, except for "move_drivers_to_other_w810". For this last one, I do the same procedure that with the others patches, but it doesnt seem to work. Well...my question is...is there some w810 owner which has uploaded succesfully the patch for moving the drivers to "other"? How yo do it? Thanks in advance.

Did you create the needed folders in the "others" directory and did you copy the drivers there? That may be the problem. Some patches don't need only to apply them, but to create some predefined folder structure and put drivers there before applying them.

This is part of what the driver says inside:

"Driver of the camera and display in file "drv" in Other
/ifs/settings/camera/ --> /tpa/user/other/drv
/ifs/settings/display/ --> /tpa/user/other/drv"


Well...I create drv folder in other in the phone memory (not the memory card), then I copy there the cameradriver and the dispdriver, then apply the patch, but....nothing happens when I change the camdriver in the drv folder. i restart the phone but nothing happens. What could it be wrong?
