Hi Jon

You know on many things we agree but on this one i definitely don't, I have a Voda Sim as that subsidised the cost of my N93 last August and new Data plans where coming soon then.

The real answer IMO is much simpler both Vodafone and 02 have large corporate customers whose use of Data is not as price sensitive as general users and of course they do get better deals. I am pretty sure even with increased churn Voda and 02 make more money currently out of data with their current price structure then if every user was using data on these much lower tariffs.

IMHO it is about revenue and profit nothing else I'm afraid, I do not accept it takes nearly 9 months or so to implement billing and Network monitoring and if it does who ever heads these departments needs to be fired IMO. T-Mobiles Web N Walk plans have been around a year maybe longer now and in that time 3 is the only other Network to have matched and possibly surpassed these plans. Am i seriously meant to accept that 3's billing and Network monitoring is superior to that of Vodafone and 02 as if so those networks have serious problems then.

Hi guys, first post here.

I work for O2 in one of their retail stores, and I'm going to be finding out this Thursday evening what the new tariffs are.

All I know so far is that:

-250 texts will be the standard minimum compared to the 100 they have now (£20/month tariffs excluded I assume)

-the Long Weekend promotion will continue, but (get this) you will be able to choose (whether its at the start of the contract or changeable I don't know) whether you have the max. 2000 minutes for Sat Sun and Mon, or whether its texts (I'm assuming up to 2000 too). So I know what I'll be going for.

A rumour going around is that the new O2 Staff tariffs are going to be amazing, for example rumour from our AM is that you will be able to get 1000 minutes 1000 texts xnet anytime for £17.50/month (note, STAFF ONLY).

I will attempt to find out more as I know.

EDIT: Oops just seen the thread above this, guess some of the rumours I heard were wrong, will know the final details by Thursday tho, my manager won't tell me at the moment lol.

There used to be a Vodafone call centre by me...
I think it shut though... I ended up going for a interview with them which was really weird years ago.

Thought the staff seemed Pigheaded and the way they kept on going on about how Vodafone this and that im glad I didn't end up working for them

I wouldn't mind working for 02 but I don't know what they're looking for in there employee's anyone care to tell me ?
