@boba
If a buyer changes their mind while the middle man still has the money then they won't receive their money back until they return the phone back to the seller.
Once the transaction has been done then any disputes would be between the traders.
Which is why I think its a good idea that the middleman only handles the cash - and not the phone.

@boba
If disputes happen when a middleman is not used, the seller can just cut off all communication and disappear without a trace.
This way, that simply can't happen.

Well i'm happy that all of these things are being discussed and all eventualites covered.
Also, if anything needs to be collected/delivered in the London area i might be able to do so in person if that helps increase the amount of trust.

..... and for a small extra charge, batesie also delivers, Pizza, DVDs, Ice Cream and Popcorn - service with a smile

as always.
Well if someone appears on Esato with low feedback selling, what appears to be a bargain, then using the middleman would be recommended - its better than getting burned.

@axxxr
I think we should start off with just the 4 volunteers, remember this is only a pilot scheme plus its optional too so I think it would only be rarely used (famous last words

)
However, I think there should be the option there and I would recommend this to anyone purchasing something from someone with zero or very low feedback.
I'll get back with an update.
