I had the chance to play with an N95 yesterday, and while I was impressed with the decent features, I found the plasticky feel to be startling. Plus being used to touchscreen and qwerty the UI felt useless.
Compared to the P990 at its current price I think N95 is madness.
The P990 is more "epic"

for lack of better words.

during the early releases of N95 in our location, I may agree about the plasticky stuff. slider seems to have similar to the nokia 7650 which was "loose" afterall. and i don't even loved it's large 2.6 screen without touchscreen capability in QVGA. it should be only in 2.2 or 2.4 inch to be more applicable for the looks. N95 fans, please don't bash me for saying that=).

I love

but honestly i was jumping for the p990 and almost bought it but lucky just two days before i got it i really played with it and realised it's nothing so special as some ppl here would have you believe!!!the following week i ordered the n95 and while it may not be perfect by a long mile i still dont regret getting it over the p990 which is rather 'epic' size wise lol.lets face it guys the phone is outdated now.and m600 is not even an option with no radio and camera it's not a multimedia device...

p990 is yesterday's phone (which is likely to be discontinued soon).
The size of p990 itself would put off 95% of all buyers. It is so much bigger than n95 but yet contains so much less than n95. - this is only my opinion

Ah, mib1800 my favourite Nokia fanboy. P990 is not all that far behind at all, how many other phones in its class offer the same specs it has? Of course it's bigger, but it contains just a wee bit less than N95 don't exaggerate, it does support GPS (though not onboard) lacks HSDPA, has WiFi though lacking a/g and has a lower camera MP. For the price and stability of the PDA phone that it is now, there are areas that N95 still can't touch and it's still a winner

Nice move!!!
Itīs nice to hear people are coming back to the P990i after using the N95.
Will it happen the same with the iPhone?
I personaly think the Iphone will be a total flop, too expensive, no clear target market, proprietory operating system,
Just like the iPod right?

yea, good on you buddy... i think N95 is another failure product from nokia, i've heard too many complaints about it.
I guess you missed the threads in this very forum about how the software on the M600i and the rest of the UIQ series is crap. Guess you missed that huh. Take a stroll over to the k800i forum which is still going strong almost a year later, bugs and all.
