Well my aunty recently bought my 4-year old cousin a Nintendo DS Lite - even though he may understand the concept of some games, I think it's silly
What do you guys think?

I suppose it is okay in some sense - but 'exposing' kids to such high-end goods at a young age seems bad, because they may always have high-expectations

well tbh i dont actually see the problem with kids having good mobiles at 12-13....but...only if they are going to use the features, i see people with them who dont even call or use them hardly just show off with them
at 13-14 I had a D500 then a d600, the d500 my mum just went into phones 4 u and bought it for me sim free, but it was a pressy for doing well in the SATS (also i gave my old phone for her to sell). I mean i think that is OK as i used mostly all of the features but i see it as a waste when kids use them just for the music player and to show off with

I dont have a problem at all with "Kids" using expensive gadgets..... The problem i have is that there just given out to them willy nilly by there parents.....
Fair enough if its because they have earnt it but if not there just plain spoilt.

Parents normally who do this though don't have enough time to takecare of there kids properly and so they think by buying them the expensive things they will love them more, which isn't always the case.
Kids bully cos of this there jealous of other kids because there parents show them more attention
