Is the lack of autofocus bug in video mode that's present in P990 also present in P1? Some may say you don't need autofocus for video because there's no fixed object while you shoot your video around, but believe me it makes a world of difference with the autofocus where the video of the object you're capturing is so much sharper and the contrast is so much better. Anyone?

It's not just you, rest easy
In fact, it also occurs on the P990...
Unfortunately proving my point that the P1 has inherited all the existing P990 bugs

If P1i realy has most if not all P990 bugs then i think SE have just TOTALY KILLED their last chance with most of their UIQ users,but then again its still very new,lets hope the 1st FW update gets rid of most of these bugs

how come my p990i doesnt crash when i do this too? . . . that's so sad to hear . i was hoping p1 would be bug free ..like the p910i.

Yes I hope firmware fixes the problems I'm having, which is having connection problems with internet and fixing some of the camera overexposure issues. Other than that, the phone is great. Again I said it before, but a 330mhz processor would have made this phone just that much better. The extra RAM is owesome!
