It is possible to add fields when editing contacts. Is it also possible to remove certain, added fields later on?

Besides on the second tabpage I see now address (th), postal code (th), city (th) [translated from Dutch, so the text may be slightly different in English), while it used to be just address, postal code, city, etc. without the (th) or (w) text. Is it possible to change that?

@marc123

1. yes, tab the arrow next to contacts and select 'add field'
2. there is no option in edit mode to delete the fields you've added manually, but they will be deleted automatically if you leave them blank & save the contact, while the default fields will remain.
3. no, you can only choose 'w' or 'h'

Just read a good tip by masseur, regarding backlight settings (how to limit the possible annoyance of the light cutting out)

--> http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=154520#post2095804

I said that it is a pity the backlight doesnt go off when the keylock is activated. This would ideal, as I generally 'keylock it' when i have finished using my P1i.

Do anyone know how to force the backlight to go off?

Ive tried to organize the tips & tricks and maybe add some too:

In Standby:
1-Press & hold '0' for + dialing
2-Press & hold '*' for p dialing
3-Press & hold 'q,w,o,p,a,s,l,z or .' for Contacts
4-Press & hold '#' for Silent
5-Press 'ALT' & '*' to get lock keys option

In Editing:
1-Press & hold 'space' for tab
2-Press ',' or '.' repeatedly for extra characters

In Media player
1-Press '0' for Play/Pause

In Opera
1-Press & hold a link to open in a new tab
2-Press & hold the screen to switch between landscape & portrait

In Radio
1-Press the numeric keys for the preset radio stations

In Messages
1-Press 'ALT' & '*' to toggle between read and unread messages

In SEUS
1-Hold Shortcut key instead of 'c' when connecting

In Calendar:
1-Alarms entered from within phone use the alarm sound set within Calendar/Settings
2-Alarms entered from Outlook use the alarm sound set within Control Panel/Devices ALARM CLOCK
3-The alarm sound set for Calendar Alarm from within Control Panel/Devices is therefore useless
4-The alarm sound set within Calendar/Settings at the time of entering a new appointment is the alarm which that entry uses regardless of the current sound set after the entry was input?
5-There are therefore only 2 ways to have a normal alarm work, 1-change the sound from default when the alarm is set or 2-set an appointment from within calendar on the phone remembering to set the calendar/settings sound to your alarm sound

When u have selected items, in this example to delete them. You can use the keyboards backspace key to delete them. Once clicked, the touchscreen offers the 'confirm delete' option. (Yes or No)

Well, you can obviously can used the touchscreens displayed Yes or No...

....although you can also use the Y & N keys on your keyboard.

Just thought I'd share that, in case you didnt know

lock the phone then pull the jog dial down twice (or press any button twice) the light will dim right down.

that doesn't work for me.

I guess it depends on your backlight settings as mine are changed from the defaults
