I know, but yet some people haven't had any problems at all. The W910 was also accused of the same kind of unreliability, yet most of the people I speak to who own one love it to bits and haven't had any major problems at all (mine included).
I'm not saying there were no problems with K850, but I think it's more a quality control issue and initial firmware issue than a hardware design issue. Those handsets that don't have any problems (especially after the first firmware update that sorted alot of probs) are more numerous than the lemons, it's just that the lemons get more airplay.
