@Tail
It really is such a shame that you are incapable of practicing what you preach as every time i post the truth and MO about any SE faults you come out with the same blah blah blah Nokia are bad SE are brilliant talk about a broken record.
Really the P1 build quality is so good is it maybe you should take some time to read on this Forum all the complaints people seem to have with your made in China flagship device as it seems many P1 owners most certainly don't agree and are selling there beloved P1's as are not prepared to go through another P990 saga all over again awaiting the magical fix all new firmware never ending cycle before SE stop support because they have a new model to get your money.

Marc, of course YOUR experiances are true to you, but it does you no favours when you always over-egg the pudding where SE faults/problems are concerned.
On M-R i know PERSONALLY 30-40 guys with N95s, at least 50% of them moan about build quality issues.
Please feel free to ignore everyone elses experiance with that device, i'm just here to provide some balance

.
As i said, various issues (on BOTH sides) apart, i prefer N95.
On a personal note, i wish you well as regards your failing health.

Most reviews that I have come across gave P1i mediocre rating.
imobile.com.au - N95:
4.27 P1i: 3.73
mobileburn.com - N95:
recommended P1i: not recommended
phonearena.com - N95:
9.5 P1i: 8.5

But hey, that says nothing about the built quality. And thats what I was talking about. On that, the N95 has no chance on the P1i

You of all people here MUST work at Nokia. Just a lot of spam on Nokia vs SE all the time. You have so many post on Esato and on all of them there is hardly anything new at all, just the same story all over again, again, again, again, well yes, you get the point do you
There are people that love either Nokia or SE, thats it. And you for sure must LOVE Nokia, right?
The thing that bothers me most (and not only me) is that you just say same thing over and over again. Why is this so hard to understand?

But hey, I rather take a wobbly slider than the lousy P1i camera module that dies on you very soon after you bought it. On that, P1i has no chance against N95 on reliability.
btw: why does one always bring out the (historic) wobbly slider of N95 and the infactual N95 battery life every time a N95 is in a comparison.

HaHa because people drag up the FW issues in the P990i, thats PREhistoric

The BIG difference is when the P990 firmware was brought up the poster clearly states it was a historic fact. But when the wobbly slider was brought up the poster stated it as CURRENT problem (which is deceiving to say the least).

why do you guys keep talking about P990i and about which company is best? This topic is about N95 and P1
I personally think that both of them are exellent smartphones, both have some + and -.
P1i advantages:
QWERTY keyboard
Touchscreen
UIQ 3.0
N95 advantages:
HSDPA
Quadband
EDGE
Symbian OS
Maybe i forgot to add some things but just tell me then

Well i do know people who bought the N95 in the past two weeks who complain of wobbly slider and panel gaps, but i can't say for sure actually when they were manufactured.
Each to his own, i say
