they charge u for it so that no one can take thier player crack it and distribute it for free thus negating all thier hardwork that they have putinto it.

Well, it might stall a warezed version a bit but don't worry... it'll get out there.

I personally don't want to spend 25 bucks for something I can't try a bit first. I bought dreamconnect, swiss manager pro and aqua calendar because they are nice apps and after giving them a try I knew they are also nice for me...

Ah well, perhaps if the reviews are good enough I'll give it a shot but for now I hear it's really a beta and that would annoy me too much after having paid for it

I purchased beta 1 of core player for my P1i and had major problems with sound (see earlier post), I opened a ticket for this and recieved a responce today theat the issue has been resolved in beta 2. The problem is that I cannot download beta 2 without having to pay again. Can anyone help?

I still haven't bought it yet but looking through their help and support it seems you should be able to:

1 - Goto the Core Account @ http://portal.coreforge.org
2 - Goto 'Sales' tab > select 'Purchases'
3 - Click your purchase 'Order number'
4 - On the right side you will see 'Download URL', click this to download the latest version.

thanks, got beta2, sound actually works now. playing a 1.4 gig xvid and is ok, slight jitter in the begining. Speaker volume much louder than se music player.
