also, some things do not appear on the list of apps...it would be wonderfull to be able to add shortcut to the sound settings (so you can put sound off), or to backlight (to use divx player, that curiously also does not appear in the list)

Thanks a million to pepelaz3000 for working on such a great application

On top of ares's requests, I would also wish to have short cut keys to 'keylock' and toggle 'silence/mute' mode. Once again, thanks a million for such a great application for UIQ 3 platform

Yes, I am testing it on P1i and it works just fine

Hence the need for a hotkey to LOCK the keypad cos it does not have dedicated lock key like the one found on P990i

Pressing and holding the 'back' button is NOT as easy as pressing and holding e.g., the letter 'L' to lock the keypad in any screen
Same goes to silence/mute button too cos the M600i/P1i's hotkey for silence/mute can only be done on the Main Screen and no where else, which again is troublesome as compared to pressing e.g., 'M' to mute the phone in any screen

I agree. I have found a workaround to this problem - I am using Swiss Manager Pro to manage the RAM on my P990. I have removed the "include in End all" option for LongCuts which then means that it is never closed when I have RAM issues. It's the next best thing to having it as a system application!
