Stay and concentrate with UIQ, that's better for SE. and i'm just hoping that the new UIQ phone will now be UIQ 3.1 + Java Platform 8 APIs and the two new mandated Java APIs for K850 and W910. that's my dream platform for a Walkman/Cybershot phone
if the W910 has UIQ 3.1 + P1's RAM i couldn't get happier

There
are already phones running Linux. Motorola has a few models although these are not proper smartphones AFAIK (i.e. installation of third-party software not possible). And then there's the
Siemens SXG75.

Pocket PC phones usually have a small reset switch (pinhole switch) so no need for the "three-finger salute". This is something I miss on the P990i actually
