I think the:se: S700 has been in the market for a long period of time too 'cause there has been no immediate SEQUEL to this model back then.

The T650i has only been on the market a couple of weeks. The K750i has been selling for years!
I have found that it takes a good 6 months for a phone to mature on the market so it will take a few months from release for the T650i sales to peak.

Well without a doubt the price will drop just like on all new phones. I am hoping the price will halve on the T650i

This is not related with the cid but with the hw revision.
The latest revision, R30A, available since Oct-Nov '06, has the camera with limited zoom functionality (highest res > no zoom at all)
Up to R20B (also cid 49) it was normal.

In my experience when Z710i was available since SEP 2006,
I still can see the phone on sale in JUL 2007;
BUT for a model which seldom discuss: Z300i
availabe since JAN 2006 but then seldom see in the 3rd and 4th quarter
