In this guy's tech review it takes a second or two to enhance with PhotoFix (well, we don't know which resolution is he enhancing)

I have also seen some videos of it saving a 5Mpx picture in 2 seconds. GSM Arena says it needs that long to save it too.
I must say I am a bit confused here.

LCARS-Expert: Don't trust these reviewers. They get their phones free and will continue to get free phones as long as they keep the manufacturer sweet. The phone does indeed take 2 seconds to save a picture. That is correct. However, opening pictures takes a bloody ridiculous amount of time, and as has already been stated, what you see initially is a low res preview.

I know that reviews aren't always trustworthy but there is a contradiction on Youtube to almost every complaint.
Btw, if you look closely to that review which link I have posted above you'll se that reviewed K850i is branded to O2.

This is a beta model. Go to 2:45 - There he opens a picture in a second and zooms into it rather smoothly.

2 secs to start cam, 2 secs to save shot
vs.
5 secs to start cam on my n95-3, 5 secs to save (if camera is not in standby)
3 secs tp start cam in standby and 5 secs to save
impressed with SE's improved start and save times... helps you from missing the shot...
