WOW! Great solution bud, sounds like something Julius Malema would say LMAO! but i highly doubt anyone who buys a device, especialy A high end WANTS to have problems,but hey you maybe right, SE must realy love you hey.

A bit out of topic but pics of Hikaru (which supposedly has a 3.5mm jack) that has swarmed the net looks a lot like an existing WALKMAN Touch device by SONY (not ). Some closet creativity perhaps?

Personally I find that using 3.5mm jack on a phone a cheap thing. And these jacks are more likely to break (the soldered parts breaking from the board)

Summing the situation I had pretty the same number of problems with fast port and jack, but those with fastport "were self-repairable" while the others were just "imprecations"... So I like fastport, except for the bulk that creates with headphones...
