Also I called the local unlock guys and told them about the CID53 thing. They said it is possible to unlock it, but I have to leave it for a day, cause they have to open the phone physically??? Any idea why?

nope you cant downgrade a CID53 phones....shops can unlock it using dreambox...they have to open it because dreambox using test point cables to point in the board flash chip...

k series i have the same problem with u... CID 53 @@ with configuration error... cz i uploaded wrong customize_upgrade.xml into tpa/preset/custom and i cant find my uploaded file... now i get this prob too @@ did u solve ur problem already ?? is yes tell me how u solve it
