what i mean is i get very good pics with my k850 if i just use example: cloudy + stabilzer

k850 with its 5 megapixels gives easily best details. show me a k750 who produce this kind of details when its cloudy weather ????? no way !

or details overall

or like Lucis excellent pics

http://shop.carphonewarehouse[....]ricsson/k850i-green-clearance/
i don't like it enough to spend £180 i brought my k800i for £170 but wanted it enough to pay that possibly when the prices drops again i might buy it i like it more than the new c series, until then i am more than happy to stick with my k800i.

plank, i really can understand that you're defending K850 because also in my opinion this is very good (not the best) 5mp camphone. however i don't understand how can you write things like that quoted. looks like you really don't know what K750 can do. funny thing is that you wrote about details but maybe you forget that 2mp is always far away from 5mp? nonsense

i picked up some old photos from W800. all taken in cloudy days, not enough details?

the water colour of hte K800 is a real let down - it was the only thing that really disappointed me about the K800.

K750 + MXE is definately better, and even the K750 with only it's own light is better at close range than K800. Not to mention macro. The K800 flash drowns out detail on macro shots where the K750 light is just perfect. Not only that on macro shots the K800 focus beam is so bright it reflects strongly off the subject preventing the camera from focussing properly. I've found to focus macro's I usually have to put my finger over the focus-assist beam when focussing.

My K800 flash doesn't drown out details - it actually works very very well. In my experience the K850 flash tends to overblow everything, not the K800. Still, even using the flash, the K800/K850 keeps the camera running at ISO 400, causing the noise reduction to kick into overdrive. The result? The smears or "water painting" effect that everyone describes it as.

I prefer a bit of chromatic noise in my shots which I can easily remove on my PC, rather than the camera attempting to smear that noise away so I can't see it anymore. After all, there is no way to get that detail back once its been smeared away.

I only meant about the drowning out on macro shots - because you are so close the flash is too strong for macro shots. Believe me I take a lot of macros shots, often for work (labels on routers, dialers etc that I have to get the details for service providers, usually in tight dark spaces that means I have to use macro mode and flash but the flash is too bright - whereas K750+light I never had this problem)

On normal flash, the watercolour affect is really bad, it still means blurry pics, but atleast not drowned out as bad as macros.
