I need your help: I followed all the original steps accordingly and after rebooting my phone I noted that there were no gains at all. So I reviewed the AATFiles now in C: and verified that indeed the gain values were the same (in other words, the ones I originally copied from Z were not overwritten). The problem is that now the system won't allow me to replace them or delete them from C:. I guess this is because their are currently being used by the system. I just need to replace one aat file with another one or else edit the file directly in C:. Does anyone know how can this be done? BTW, I'm using CapSwitch and Swiss Mgr Pro.
Thanks!

@ bousmart; try renaming the file you want to replace first. Than copy the replacement. This worked for me.
@SWmail; would it be possible to turn off DRC (dynamic range compression) in the sound files? This works great on my K800 with HiFi-headset.
Oh, yeah could you explain this a bit more please; x = pow2(f,h) = f*2^h ?

Could someone help me get the W960 AAT-files? I like to try them on my G900 (if they're different offcourse). At least I would like to compare the phf-files or replace them. Still trying to understand these pow-values or swmail's formula.
Could anyone enlighten me a bit?

@ Sator1973: Thank you. It's kind of strange to see that you cannot remove or replace files currently being used by the system, but rename them. I renamed my original file as "file.abc" and then copied the one with the gains into C: without problems. I rebooted the phone and now could tell the difference. The only thing that still bothers me is that the residual "file.abc" file cannot be deleted, even when it is not needed by the system anymore. Swiss Mgr Pro won't allow me to change its properties so the file remains as "read-only". Do you know if its possible to "replace" files by renaming a file with the exact name of the one to be replaced? Again, thanks a lot for your help.
As for the formula in the first post, I was trying to play a little bit with all the values inside the POW function. For Bluetooth devices, the gain went from 645 to 1300. That is: 1300 * 2^-9 = 2.5390. The gain in theory is 202%, but it's still not the "original" gain we had with the lite version of the mod. My intention is not to become totally deaf, but be able to place my maximum volume at the middle of the multimedia volume and still have room for more volume on tracks with low volume. So I'm guessing that a gain of 40 should be enough. A 1.4 gain supposes a value of 3.554688. Thus the factor should be raised from 1300 to 1820. I was about to do this testing when I realized that the files became read-only after rebooting the device.....

bousmart, thanks a lot for explaining the maths!
I also found you can move protected files to D:/ and then delete them with a PC. This way I moved the entire 10200b19 directory and the mod's other replacement files to undo the mod. After restarting the phone there will be an empty 10200b19 dir in C:/. Weird, using my memory card as a trash bin.
About the volume, I agree totally. I want it louder to experience the full dynamics of my favourite headset. That's why I also would like DRC off. A big headset shouldn't need it.
Anyone who knows about DRC settings and where to find them?

OK for now I'm back with SoundModLite.
Setup: SE G900
SE HGE-100 (GPS!, just the jack part)
Sennheiser HD215 (yeah it's big, modified>no xtra wire)
SoundModLite
Tested with: Apocalyptica, Cult 320kbps
Equalizer set to Rock
Results: overwhelming; great bass, good dynamics, just a bit of distortion sometimes at loudest volume setting. Doesn't matter, it's too loud anyway. I cannot imagine an Iphone would perform better.

Has anyone got the same problem?

Does not work on my G900 after flashing to the latest firmware R9M003, but it worked before when I had R9L004.
Is there any chance someone please upload their mmgmtserver.exe file and their patched or unpatched M3SAudioPolicyMgr.dll file here please so I can try? Much appreciated
