Its going well mate. She's still in hospital though but I doubt for long. She's taking quite a lot of feeds straight from her bottle now and completing them without getting too tired.
Her milk has been changed as well to one that has a higher calorie count so she will put on weight quicker. Doc's say if she keeps this up she should be out by the end of the week
I really hope so. I'll get them both home then as Donna's back in hospital as well

We've now had Rebecca home for nearly 3 weeks. There's been some ups and downs but everything's going well.
She just needs to get her weight up ready for her operation in January.

Rebecca went for her operation at Birmingham childrens hospital 2 days ago. The operation went fine and her plastic surgeon did a very good job correcting her cleft palate. However, the dr's have found that she has a weak larynx (sp?) and small airways/lungs. They are going to be putting a camera through her nose in a few days time to determine if she will need more corrective surgery.

The nasal tube has come out today. Dr's have said they will be putting the camera into her airway on Monday so will see then wether she will need another operation or if its something that will improve as she grows.
