When using either Nokia's or SE's i've never had true annoyances working with my phones, NEC phones and to a lesser degree Motorolas and samsungs have been much worse.
But since i don't use smartphone features too much i prefer the beautiful elegance of the SE's interface so for everyday i prefer my SE, S60 even with themes and customizations feels "sterile"/spartan and somewhat bores me
I do have to mention i wud prefer if SE made their predictive typing system similar to s60. I don't like having to go through a pop up list of words to pick my word( although i understand the logic of it) and it seriously annoys me when you have to spell a word that's not on the dictionary why does a big "word not in dictionary" have to pop up when i was setting up my t9 dictionary it quickly grew fatigueing. On my n82 when selecting words you just press the * button to cycle between words quickly and efficiently instead of moving my thumb to the d-pad( yes...nitpicking) and when the word isn't in the dictionary, the right softkey automatically changes to "spell" no big "word not in dictionary" message in my face. Plus when you want to quickly use a symbol such as "$" you press * and every symbol is displayed to select. as opposed to having to go option->add symbol. rant over

Hi Norobik
What i was doing in my post was showing the PW that most of the things he said couldn't be done on a S60 actualy can be done just like on a A200 SE.
I find the texting field in my K850 when using OperaMini too small. On the K850 im only able to fit around 3-sentences before it moves down whereas on my N81 i can fit 11-sentences before moving down, so its easier to use when writing long posts and editing them.
Is the T700 still fast even when running Media player and other apps at the same time?
The K850 is not that bad with latest FW but it is kind of slow and Multitasking with it can be a pain.

I totaly agree! A simple press of * and it even has the last 8 symbols you've used, its so dam simple to use. I dont like ANY type of t9 though, i still do multi tap, 98% of the posts i do here are done by multi tap on my N81 due to how great the text UI and great texting field on S60, i usualy find myself fiddling on A200 especialy when doing a lot of copying/pasting and writing long posts.

@yea g: oh i wouldn't call SE's txt message interface bad by any means, i've used a lot worse, but the things i mentioned are aspects i prefer with nokia's interface.
Nothing infuriates me about the way it works...Now motorola on the other hand...if you want to type "2day" or "2moro", hold down the "2/abc" key to get "2" and then the phone thinks i need number mode!! then you have to change it bak to letter mode to finish writing "day". I mean that grows wearisome VERY quickly. that was 80% of the reason i sold my moto v3x

You didn't read my post very well. I didn't say setting the Ringtone was a problem, I said setting the MESSAGE tone was a problem. You can't just go straight to the artist with that, you have to scroll through everything.

can set the Ringtone, Message Tone, Alarm and Caller Ringtones direct from the artist which is much easier than the S60 system which takes forever to set anything other than ringtone.
I know the snooze is a right click, but you're missing the point. When you're sleepy, you want to able to click snooze easily.

is 10 times easier because you can use ANY button, not just that one button which is hard to find without looking.
I should point out that I made a mistake with MARK ALL, I should have put MARK SEVERAL. Rather than having to transfer several Bluetooth items one at a time, with

you can mark the ones you want and send them all at once. S60 can't do that. You can send one at a time, or everything at once. Not a select group.
The camera on S60 sucks too. Everything has to be controlled by one button. My new W902, just like all my other

camphones integrate shortcuts into the keypad which makes life ten times easier. PLUS, with S60 you lose settings.

maintains them for the next time you switch the camera on.
Plus the S60 menu system, despite the amazing excitement about moving folders (which

does too, but quicker!), is so dull! It actually made me NOT want to use it because it was so, so boring.

's interface is much nicer to use. The icons aren't 'kiddy'. they're big and clear, and with flash themes are really nice to use. Plus, the menus are much more logical. I can access all my settings etc at least three of four clicks quicker than S60 everytime.
I honestly don't see the benefit having used S60. There is such a hoo-haa made of S60's ability to install apps. Who cares?

I didn't find anything useful to install at all for my needs, and the more interesting apps you had to pay for.

has what I need, where I need it, as well as being quicker and easier to access.

You CAN mark several on S60, simply click the Hash key (#) on whatever you want to mark and the tick goes on it, sounds to me like you had no idea of what you were doing hey.
Lol you must get realy sleepy, it makes NO diff to me about snooze, its not like its THAT difficult to just click the right soft key.
Lol, in S60 i can simply click the Search app in stand by and have ANY TEXT message, Audio file, Pic, Document, App, Web address, Contact, email etc. . . .in just a few seconds, until A200 can do that dont be telling me about how much "quicker" it is to access anything.
SE Menu system much nicer to use? Ye thats FOR YOU, personaly S60s is much better, i dont find it dull either, just nice and simple, i like the icons and transitions i have on my N81, its not over done like SEs, after debranding my K850 i thought id be happy with the SE Icons but once i was done and got to the Menu im faced with a giant envelope (Messaging) all up in my face as if the dam thing cant get any bigger, my 12yrld lil bro likes it though so we got him a W300 but i think i may just give him the K850, it suits him.
Everything in the Camera controlled by ONE button? What kinda N82 did you have? Everything is done by the Dpad keys and center key, and settings can be saved in Scene Modes > User Defined and it will keep whatever you set, like i said above realy sounds as if you had no idea what you were doing so its good you went back to A200.
I find SE Flash Themes tend to slow down the phone when multitasking heavily, and when you want to put new ones in you have to get A2uploader and mess around in the FS, whats up with that? In S60 il just simply install themes that change icons etc. . .heck even create my own themes right on my S60 using ThemeDIY with no PC.
A hoo-haa about S60s ability to install apps?

WOW thats a 1st hey, ANYWAY ive found many apps that are FREE that are useful to me like MobiTubia which allows me to download and watch any YouTube vids, DivX Player to allow me to play avi, divx, xvid videos, MagicKey to allow me to use my Multimedia keys in other apps like using one of my Gaming keys to Zoom in/out, rotate display etc when reading a Document etc. . . Got SmartGallery to hide files as well view Thumbnails to see what i wana send, got Y-Browser which is a great File Manager, Symella which works like LimeWire to download Music, Vids, Pics etc. . .that i want and loads of other apps that do what I want, for FREE.
Im glad you got back to SE with your W902 cause you obviously had absolutely no idea what you were doing in S60, and now posting some very false info eg the Mark Several thing which from the very beginning screamed clueless.
Good luck with your W902.

@GUCCI.011
May I ask what kind of job you do? Nothing specific - just what field you are in. Trust me, it DOES have something to do with phone preferences
