@royalty,bad luck mate, i`ve noticed all th cracked p8 screens seem to be damaged low down on the screen, suggesting that the keypads little potruding pins have actualy caused the damage whatever hit the phone put all the pressure on just one of those pins, as just a little pressure applied to a tiny area concentrates the load. i`m asking if the keypad was on at the time because i think these pins need to be changed to rubber (they look metalic) SE better do it before long because the phones not even selling world wide yet but lots of screens are breaking.

pachy
i dont think the keypad pins can do any dameg coz the pin has a limit
witch makes it impossible to crack the screen & also the keypad has
tow side buttons to keep a safe distance from the screen incase any
pressure on the keypad it self ,,,,,
b.t.w the keypad was open i repeat was open when that happened and it was also crackd in the lower right as you can see in this photo
(cant figer out how it did)
Peter

OK Thanks for that, i was reading a post where a guy said the keypad only has to bend a little to let the pins touch, so that isn`t what happened to yours, i will keep an eye on your posts, we all have alot of sympathy i`m sure.
That 3650 is a big phone !
