I have a problem. If i search for a thread on Opera it comes up on screen saying search found 1 to 10 threads or something but nothing else comes up

That page content does not come from the viewtopic.php page. Something buggin with Firefox when you captured that screenshot. Doing a CTRL-R or CTRL-SHIFT-R would have shown something completely different

Probably in the wrong thread but...
When you post a reply to a thread that has several pages (i.e. A-Z of trusted traders), after the reply is posted, when you either click read your message or wait for the auto re-direct to the thread, it goes to the first page...
Is there anyway for it to go to your post, or the page your post is on?
this is especially tiring when trying to post from my blackberry lol

This has been discussed before but i can't remember the solutions. You could try to sort the posts descending order. The first page will be the last.

maybe it's on your preferences, try to sort it on ascending order.
that kind of situation only occurs when your editting a previous post, it automatically re-direct you on the first page of the thread after editting that post, that's based on my experience
