no 3g camera call?? oh that's for fun ... for sure............
that's fun for whoever who don't want their other half track them
well honestly. I don't really see the point to use 3G or 3.5G for video call...its more for data
but well on Aino...as i get the time to read more about it....the capacitive touch screen with limited function is just too stupid...they better get the software guy work on the stuff fast to get more touch function in.
if they only need limited function...why not just use the good old resistive method which is cheaper.

Cuz enough people are complaining about the limited touch functionality, don't need to make it worse by adding resistive screens to the list.

I think it will be better than Idou for SE addict...
Idou potential negative points:
-S60 (yes I hate s60 OS and nokia)
-Screen could be poor under direct sunlight because it's resistive
-Battery?
-Too big
This model is like a redesigned W995 which is not bad at all

Honestly i was more surprised than disappointed, i did not expect something from SE other than expecting reese to appear or have idou finally and officially announced but what we have here is two new phones alongside idou (which is now Satio) and aino is really refreshing! I mean God, those designs came out straight from Japan! and the Multimedia media menu makes us think that its a scaled down PS3.
The limited touchscreen on A300 may disappoint many of us (actually me too) but inside A300 is very matured java platform thats just
second to none, I even wondered why i can't play those mighty unmatchable FishLab games on other phones other than SE until realizing that its because other brands doesn't actually have a java3dmicroedition API installed in it! Touchwiz and S-Class can offer us UIs that are great looking but they lack substance.

Really stupid. A2 accelero meter in media menu and touch screen function in anio media menu. Always reducing the software quality by upgrading platform. I cant forgive this bec its basic. I can use my media menu without touch functionality is it not?
SE concentrating on lil things missing basic main things. If it doesn't have touch screen people wouldn't have criticized much as now. Or atleast the D- pad in front could make a sense. Pissed off.

I think it's stupid to be that upset over the touch-thing. If it's not being marketed as a fully fledged Touchphone, then we should be glad it's there. Many japanese phones utilizes touch like this.

Do you use a slider?
i do. Every day. i open it for calls and use the numerical keypad for fast access of menus. Trust me, it's faster than any touch UI. The only place where I wanted touch in the first place was for media and web. Now this phone has promised the former and we have to wait and see the latter. I don't see what the big problem is.

I think its genius; this phone is going to be massive.
I have an iPhone 3G and using the multitouch for media is great but using it for menus and txt entry while novel is error prone and just plain frustrating at times.
This will be great for people unsure about making the leap to full touchscreen. Throw in some cool downloadable content and a good subsidy and SE have a winner!
