Dont realy understand all the disappointment you are all talking about, this must be one of the best specd Androids, looks very promising IMO. Although i do get this unbelievably sick feeling that SE may decided to keep this as 1.6 and release a device running 2.0 i hope thats not going to happen.
Prom1
Im sure that 1GB is internal memory, the X10 must have around 256-288mb RAM ,or around 400mb like HTC Leo.

16k for 4.0 inches no multitouch and no oled screen?
android 1,6?? I want to believe an Android 2.0 udate but i don't think so...
And what about HD capabilities??

It won't have 16k colours but at least 262,144.
No multitouch because of google (and its rumored exclusive agreement with moto) but there will be hopefully an update.

I doubt it was 16k screens. It's not standard and could be a typo...

And don't judge the contrast by looking at poor-quality hands-on photos. We should see the LCD directly by our eyes to judge it! Maybe when it's launched on February. After all, pics from engadget that is used in presentation is a proto. Final retail could had much better plastic and material...

Had 3 question regarding Android as a smartphones:
1. Does it has Office Document Editor? So we can edit word and excel directly. Satio has it.
2. Does the web-browser support full-desktop Flash? So we can watch a desktop version of YouTube sites directly. Satio can do that.
3. Does it has Clear Audio experience? Aino can do that

guys stop complaining
this device is nearly perfect - it only lacks multitocuh
the UI is perfect, and the first one which can really compete with the iphones UI

the best news today is that this is just the beginning of rechael smartphone series - this is what apple forgot to do

sony ericsson is back in the game

Thank you people such as some people in here, for overhyping this handset!
Sony Ericsson definitely have left the building long time ago and with this release they prove it.
I'm with a few people in here, this is definitely the disappointment of the year by a long shot.
The leaked brochure has absolutely nothing to do with it, because I knew it was fake from the very first second I saw that video but having official people stating Android 2.0 along with X10 and Sony Ericsson making a mini site to tease us, was hardly worth my anticipation and attention.
Somwhere in this mobile community world, they are celebrating this utter failure and for once it's justified.
Those pcitures Sealover has linked to shouldn't make anyone happier because even my Xperia X1 doesn't let the colourse fade away like that when tilting the device.

Milestone, here I come!
