Hi rafaat, i want to ask something, it is possible to overclock the satio cpu speed?? I hear that vivaz also use the same AMR cortex-A8 like satio, so it should not impossible to do that, are i am right? Check this:-
The ARM Cortex™-A8 processor is based on the ARMv7 architecture and has the ability to scale in speed from 600MHz to greater than 1GHz. The Cortex-A8 processor can meet the requirements for power-optimized mobile devices needing operation in less than 300mW; and performance-optimized consumer applications requiring 2000 Dhrystone MIPS.

if vivaz can running 720 MHz without problem of heat, why satio can't??

It probably is possible, but why would you want to? Doing so will deplete the mediocre battery faster and make the phone even more unstable! Plus Symbian^1 does not really use an OMAP 3430 to its optimum. I.e Graphics Accelerator is not used at all and messages are so clunky that the speed increase will not make a real difference. I believe only Symbian^3 + will make use of the Cortex A8 and Graphics enabler. But porting that is another story....
The Vivaz uses a OMAP 3630 whereas a Satio uses a OMAP 3430 which explains the speed increase.

i thought increase the cpu speed can improve it performance, so no lag will happen when running multiple applications at the same time, like vivaz, i can see the standby theme and its menu running smoothly than my satio and i like that!! .It is possible/chance for the satio to run the Symbian^3 ?? just wondering...

Btw Raafat, are you working on any more juicy updates for the Satio? We all appreciate the hard work you've put into it - the Vivaz hack is great, and it feels good knowing that someone is trying to improve our phones since SE doesn't really care.
Cheers.

There isn't much I can do now. In order to port most things such as DLNA or DIVX I will need to create a cooked ROM. Whilst cooked ROMs can be made. There is currently no free way of flashing the phone!
