Yes is it capacitive or resistive? I preffer capacitive screens but i dont think they will work very well in this very small screen. Capacitive screens are not accurate enough for exemple for things like copy paste (Its very difficult to select the exact text you want)
Nontheless this may not be a problem if the keyboard be able to operate the phone and not only for typing
Now, the battery may be a big issue just like on satio or even worst (SE never learn... and i dont believe they can't put a bigger capacity battery on a such thick device )

Non-user removable and according to whitepaper it is 950 mAh for mini and 970 mAh for mini pro.

The screen is capacitive (single touch) again according to the whitepaper.

thanks for the info Phoner...
this is not good because we can't have extra battery. the problem will arise when the battery get corrupted and need a replacement and we are far from se service centre...

IMHO, it won't be a good phone.. why?

capacitive touch screen = expensive/won't be good on some applications
non-user removable battery = hassle

i just like the interface and the looks.. but i don't think it will be such a good phone.. never learned their lesson!

from where come this decision that capacitive touch screen will be not good for some applications?
apple are with non-removable batteries since years and I don't see any signs that this is affecting their sales

the opera mini.. capacitive touch screens can't select small texts..

i still like this thing.. especially the pink mini.. wonder how long the battery life is when playing music..

I really liked the X10 Mini's look when it was first leaked. Adding a Qwerty keyboard makes it all the more appealing. The UI looks really fast and smooth in all the hands-on videos.

I'm seriously considering this as my next phone, provided the price is right. I haven't been 'spoiled' by huge-screened phones (still using a K790i), so the screen size won't be too much of an issue. I'm glad they're releasing this. I'd never be able to afford the X10 (nor could I justify it). I just hope that they don't overprice it due to the Xperia branding. Seems to me that all the high-end phones just keep coming with ever-increasing price tags.

Cheers

950mAh and 970mAh batteries??? The cheapest Android on the market, HTC Tattoo, is rocking a 1100mAh battery, that should be the minimum, especialy when considering they are smartphones aimed at social networking and staying connected.
As for non-removable batts, personaly thats not a problem, SE batteries are usualy reliable, but i just dont see a X10mini making it through a day of moderate use.
