I gotta agree with Arroyootje.
As feature packed it ever is, there still are some real basic functions missing on it.

@arroyoojte:

You'd have more claim to your opinions about the P800 IF YOU HAVE read the manual and figured out how to use the P800. You keep coming into the forums and show you are a real idiot

(you don't even know there are folders in pictures and you don't even know unread smses are in bold? Come on! That's not even advance usage of the phone!!)

and throwing sissy fits about the phone being crap. So who's going to trust your opinions of the phone?

@froddan
I take it u dont hv a P800 right?
well dude, the T68 is missing a lot of basic stuff too: how about dialing a number on screen and being able to save it like nokia phones do it (that's one thing I love bout nokias).. to me, that is crucial when I need to save a number fast, like, I;m on the bus and I am taking down a friend's number 3 seconds before I hv to get off...
no phone has everything...
and T9, read my post earlier.. I wont bring back the same subject again..

I have a p800, dude... And the issue here is the lack of basic functions in p800, not in t68. And you're welcome to read my earlier postings about the use of qwerty or jotter vs t9. Also the lack of custom folders and the impossibility to reply to a mail in flip closed mode is quite annoying. And a business phone/pda without fax? No profiles? @arroyootje and @Froddan,

I respect your opinions about the P800 lacking some of what you consider to be basic functions. I however don't have the same opinion, as what is basic to you is not basic to me. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I very much prefer the OS and UI to be as stripped down and open as possible allowing me to have more free memory to choose for myself what "BASIC" functions I wan't to add!

@brick:

Duh, i DO know there are folders there, but i don't feel they are as user friendly as normal folders like on a pc, like on a 7650, where you click on a folder and they open.... here you have to click on the menu and stuff.... Maybe that is easier for your complex brain, but MY opinion is that it isn't.... you can choose to agree or disagree.....

@Patchy: Funny comment on the "a twerp", you're a really funny guy! BUT maybe it would be funnier if you could think of OTHER little jokes seeing as you've used that one already in another thread and it's getting a little boring.......

@fijbert:

I bought the P800 cos i have been waiting for it for so long and read loads of positive things about it, listen you guys: not everyone's idea of a perfect phone or whatever is the same, so why can't you just respect MY opinion about it, I DO also see the good things about it, i love some things, but i just think that there should be other things... what has it got more than other phones at the moment? not that much...

@pachy
dude, I still found ur joke funny

@froddan
if u dont like the phone, then well, return it..
it's as simple as that.. u dont hv to bash the best phone made

and to all who find it wayyyy to difficult to use, then what can I say? read the manual, or buy a P800 for dummies..
u all knew there was no T9 b4 hand, it wasnt a surprise, and u all knew the lack of profiles..
I personnally dont care becuz I find adjusting everything to be quite simple..
it's not like u lend the phone to ppl so that they can just switch to their profile

@ fijbert

Bash? I'm merely expressing my opinions about it, isn't that what a open forum is all about? Sharing thoughts and opinions?
As Raven said, he disagrees with me but still respects my opinions.

Not all are into playing games or watching cartoons on our p800, some of us actually need it for communication and pim, and as such it has a few very basic things missing.
That doesn't make it a bad phone/pda, but it holds it back from being as good as it could have been.

Are you claiming that saying "no folders" should be considered the same as "you have to select them in a menu"

You sound stupid....
