The pic on the last page looks like an empty SenseMe list.
I can't wait to see something more proper on the music player, I'd love to know if it has an Equaliser or Gapless Playback.
UI looks awesome as well, and the phone still isn't out.
Gapless Playback! I think you're onto something here.
What I'd LOVE from
is ....
Music Player combining Voice & Line-In Recorder (the latter via headset jack) to be able to have "Gapless Playback" along with "Gapless Recording" with ability to tap a sw button for placing tracks during recordings. This is something the MiniDisc had that CompactDisc NEVER had and I REALLY enjoyed recording a lot of DJ mixes which later I could separate individual tracks or a FULL mix.

I think the design is really nice!
I belive you have to try it yourself to experience how good the big bright screen really is!
And also it looks nice to be able to pinch out in "homescreen-mode" to gather the widgets,
hopefully there will be alot more fancy stuff like that.
I'm waiting for a video of how it looks when you arrange the icons in the menu,
I belive the icons will float around like on the iphone.?
Engadget seems to like the hardware:

"The big question is, will they be able to keep this phone up with android"
Stupid comment, they've allready proven that. It has the latest version and there has also
appered pictures of the Arc with Android 2,4 (even though this tells us nothing). I have
talked with some friends on SE and clearly they have realised that they have to keep up
with the latest version and now they have proven it so FU all the complains. SE in my heart!!

I think Arc has a nice design. Great camera and good it will be shipped with latest Android.
But again X10 will not gain all this goodness although it has similarly powerful platform to get all the latest Android FW.
But again, to be up to date you have to buy a new phone.
Looks like all over the same strategy. Shame.

Anzu turned out to be better than expected. Everything is great except that it does not support HSPA+, there is not at least 8gb of internal memory and no sign of Mediascape.
The exclusion of Mediascape really puzzled me, as in. I don't know why this feature is left out. Could somebody please shed a light on this?

First of all, no need to write in CAPS
Second, the older SEs (with the A2 platform and the U series) used to have a media menu, however this one is quite different from it.

@smclion102
You do not have to educate me about the Media player on Xperia Arc. I knew about it and I had already seen it. What my question is why SE did not include their own customized media player!
As far as I know, this media app your talking about is the native media player of Android 2.3 not an improved version of Mediascape![ This Message was edited by: rss_ndrsn on 2011-01-06 10:08 ]

Seems to be a pretty great device
The media menu looks promising and I hope it has an automatic setting for the flash and not the stupid solution that`s on the x10
Mini jack on the side is imo a bad solution and I`m not to happy with the concave back.
